Get an image under 25 KB

A real size target: 25 KB, reached by lowering quality and, only if needed, dimensions.

    Drop the image

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or TIFF. Transparency is flattened onto white.

  2. 2
    Let the search run

The tool tries JPG quality levels first, then downsizes if 25 KB still isn't reached.

  3. 3
    Check the honest label

If the file fits, it says so. If it cannot, you get the closest attempt rather than a false claim.

What this tool does

The compressor starts at high JPG quality and steps down until the encoded file fits under 25 kilobytes. If it reaches the quality floor and the file is still too large, it reduces the pixel dimensions in stages.

That is a search, not a magic wand. A photograph with fine detail has a floor below which it stops looking like a photograph; the result is labelled 'closest possible' when that floor is hit.

Questions people actually ask

Is 25 KB guaranteed?

No. A detailed image may not fit 25 KB without becoming unusable. The tool reports the closest result honestly instead of pretending it hit the target.

What format is the output?

JPG. It is the most predictable format for a hard size limit and is accepted almost everywhere. The trade-off is no transparency.

Will the dimensions change?

Only if quality reduction alone cannot reach the target. The result card shows the final pixel dimensions, so you can see exactly what happened.

Is this lossless?

No. Reaching a small target requires lossy compression. The tool minimises the damage but cannot make it lossless.
