Work out a date gap, generate a QR code, read text from a scan, open a ZIP, or convert a unit — without installing an app or handing over the file.
These are deliberately unglamorous tools. A date calculator that handles leap years and inclusive day counts. A QR generator that exports PNG or SVG. OCR that runs a real recognizer locally, including scanned PDFs. ZIP creation and extraction without a desktop app.
OCR is the slowest tool here because the language model has to load. English is bundled; other languages download only when selected. The first run is slower than the rest, and very large scans take a while — that is the cost of keeping the document on your machine.
