Generate barcodes
CODE128, EAN and friends as crisp PNGs — for product labels, inventory stickers and shelf tags.
- 1Enter the content
One value, or switch on batch mode to turn a pasted column into one barcode per line (up to 50).
- 2Pick a format and print width
CODE128 for general use; EAN-13 and UPC-A for retail. Set the quiet zone and the physical SVG width in millimetres.
- 3Download or batch
PNG and SVG per value; a batch ZIP includes both formats for every line.
Questions people actually ask
Which format for retail products?
EAN-13 for most of the world, UPC-A for North America. Both need exactly the right digit count — the tool tells you when you're off.
Will supermarket scanners read these?
Yes, at print quality. Keep bars black on white, don't stretch proportions, and watch the millimetres-per-module line. Under 0.25 mm per module is too tight for many scanners.
What is the quiet zone?
The blank margin around the bars. The default is 10 modules; cutting it saves space but can make handheld scanners hunt for the barcode's edges.
