Sign a PDF with a drawn signature
Draw once, place it on the right page, and download a PDF with the signature baked into the page.
- 1Draw your signature
Use a mouse, finger or stylus. The transparent space around the ink is trimmed automatically.
- 2Pick the page and position
Set the page, width, and distance from the left and bottom. The preview shows the placement before you commit.
- 3Place it and download
The signature is embedded as a PNG image and saved into a new PDF.
What this tool does
The pad records strokes at full resolution and exports only the inked area, so the signature does not carry a large transparent border. It is embedded with pdf-lib at the size and position you choose.
Because the result is an ordinary image on the page, any PDF reader can display it. For contracts that need signer identity and tamper evidence, use a qualified e-signature service; this tool does not pretend to be one.
Questions people actually ask
Is this a digital certificate signature?
No. It is a drawn image placed on the page. It looks like a signature but carries no cryptographic identity or tamper evidence.
Can I sign more than one page?
One page per run. Run the tool again on the output to add the same signature to another page.
Does it flatten the signature?
Yes — it is drawn into the page content, not added as a movable annotation that another app can detach.
