Strip metadata from photos
One click between a photo and the internet. Removes camera details, timestamps and GPS location — pixels untouched.
- 1Drop your photos
Batch works — holiday albums welcome.
- 2Optionally, check first
The EXIF viewer shows exactly what's about to be removed, if you're curious.
- 3Strip and download
Fresh files with no EXIF. The result card counts the fields removed and shows the before — after size, so you're not guessing.
Questions people actually ask
Does stripping change how the photo looks?
No. Orientation is baked in correctly before removal, so the photo won't suddenly rotate weirdly in other apps.
How do I know metadata was actually removed?
Each result card reports the field count and before — after size, and the shared badge totals it across the batch. The pixels are untouched when the photo is already upright; only a rotated photo is re-encoded after baking.
Should I remove metadata from every photo?
Any photo headed for a public place — marketplaces, forums, social media after they've re-compressed it — is safer stripped. Your own archive copy can keep everything.
