The watermark is drawn on every page you choose, over the content or behind it.

Questions people actually ask

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes — type the pages to cover, like 1-3,7. Leave it blank for every page.

Can I use a logo image as a watermark?

Text only for now. Image watermarks need alpha handling that would bloat this page without adding much.

What is the difference between Over and Behind?

Over draws the stamp on top of the page. Behind inserts it before the page's existing content, so text and images sit on top of it. A page that paints an opaque background will hide a Behind stamp — that is what the layer means, not a bug.
